South Jakarta Government provides online ojek (motorcycle taxi) pick-up and drop-off spot at office yard on Jalan Prapanca Raya, Kebayoran Baru. This facility is according to Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan instruction.

South Jakarta Mayor, Marullah Matali stated, his side provides pick-up and drop-off area to make online ojek become more orderly thus it will not disturb traffic flows and pedestrian who are passing by on sidewalk.

"We have prepared it from Monday (7/30) to facilitate online ojek drivers and our employees," he explained, Tuesday (7/31).

His side also facilitates passengers by painting the area colorfully and providing bench with canopy for online ojek passengers.

"We ensure this place is not disturbing traffic flow," he added.

Regarding online ojek pick-up drop-off spot, his side asked other government offices in South Jakarta to provide similar spots. There are 10 sub-district and 65 urban village offices in South Jakarta.

"In accordance with governor instruction, all government offices should provide this facility," he affirmed.

Beside government offices, he continued, online ojek pick-up and drop off spot will be also provided in other places such as schools, puskesmas, hospitals, terminals and sport centers (GOR).

"Several urban village offices have provided this facility such as in Cipete Selatan Urban Village and Ragunan Urban Village," he conveyed.

He reminds online ojek drivers for not using this facility as their parking area. This facility is provided only to pick up and drop off online ojek's passengers.

"It is only for its transit area, not parking area," he stated.
